Aster DM Healthcare India achieved a 15% revenue growth in FY 2024’s first nine months, alongside a 65% surge in net profit and future expansion plans.
Kochi: Aster DM Healthcare, one of India’s leading hospital chains, has released its financial results for the period ending December 31, 2024. The company reported a 15% increase in total revenue, reaching ₹3,138 crore for the first nine months of the financial year (April 1, 2024 – December 31, 2024), compared to ₹2,721 crore during the same period last year.
For the third quarter (October–December 2024), revenue grew by 11%, reaching ₹1,050 crore, up from ₹949 crore in the previous year. The operating revenue for the last three quarters showed a 35% growth, rising to ₹613 crore from ₹453 crore in the corresponding period last year. The operating profit margin improved to 19.5%, compared to 16.6% in the previous year.
The operating profit margin recorded a 19.3% growth, up from 17.7% last year. Aster India’s pre-tax profit saw a significant 103% increase, reaching ₹413 crore, compared to ₹204 crore in the previous year. The net profit attributable to shareholders rose by 65%, amounting to ₹251 crore, compared to ₹153 crore last year. These figures include ₹23.7 crore spent on mergers and acquisitions.
Aster DM Healthcare has maintained a stable performance in the third quarter of this financial year, said Founder & Chairman Dr. Azad Moopen. He further announced that by FY 2027, the total number of hospital beds within the Aster DM Healthcare network is expected to increase to 6,800. Additionally, the Board of Directors has approved a dividend of ₹4 per share for shareholders.
